My husband and I were looking for a new primary care provider since ours retired. I saw Kimi's notice in the Bristol paper, and studied her website and Facebook page. We made a "meet and greet" appointment, and were very impressed with their friendliness and her obvious well-rounded knowledge. We had our "new patient" appointments, and are very comfortable that we've found our new "home." Kimi's husband is wonderful at the front desk, made us feel so welcome, and took care of all the paperwork. Mariah was very pleasant, and got our vitals, history, etc. before Kimi came in. Kimi is just wonderful! She went over our histories, answered all of our questions, and checked us over. We had had the same doctor for nearly 30 years, and were really dreading having to get used to someone new. Kimi and her staff made us feel like we'd been going there for years. We are very happy with our decision, and highly recommend this practice; believe you'd be happy there too. Since writing this initial review for Healthgrades, I have since had to go to Kimi for treatment of swelling in the right side of my nose and face. She treated it aggressively to prevent further sinus problems, and it cleared up as she hoped it would. We live about 20 miles away from her office, but, as far as we are concerned, her care is well worth the distance.

Dr. Guffey and her husband Scott are really down to earth and good people as well as there nurse Miraha, they ALWAYS answer my phone calls whenever I may call, and always take time to actually listen to me instead of just being another patient, these people will treat you like family that's why all my family goes here, I'd strongly recommend them to anyone's family and friends.

First time going to the Dr in several years. They made me feel right at home and like part of their family. Kim Guffey spent some time talking to me about my health and family and didn't make me feel like she was in a rush to get to her next stop. My whole family will be going here in the future. Stop what you are doing and change your doctor now. they were so nice and helped me quickly! Most doctor offices take weeks to get in to, but not best family practice. Ive never had pleasant doctor expiriences but they made me feel welcome. I will be coming back forever!

I found this office on Google and decided I would go in for a meet and greet. After the meeting I knew this was a great DR. All the other DR's I have gone to herd their patients through like cattle and do not give the one on one care that DR Kimi gives. I did not know DR's like her existed! She even called me herself to address issues and that never happens with other DR's. I love this office so much that I am going to get my husband to start going here too! The office staff is amazing and I must admit that I put off writing this review because I never want them to get too busy and jeopardize my one-on-one care. I know that is selfish of me, but I finally found excellent health care and never want to lose that, ever! Thank all of you at Best Family Practice for making a patient feel confident and comfortable!

From the first contact with patient, helpful Deavin on the phone, I knew this practice was different. She was so kind and got me an appointment the very same day. When I got there, everyone was so kind yet professional. It was like we’d known each other forever. The office is stunning! They made me feel comfortable from the start…huge plus. Scott even came out to discuss insurance and technical fun things. Even that conversation wasn’t awkward. Mariah continued with the great treatment. She thoroughly covered my history, meds, all the fun stuff plus obtained my vitals. She had me feeling at ease. My pulse wasn’t scary! Then I met Kimi! She is beyond amazing! We chatted like friends talking about what was going on while covering history as well. She truly cares and loves what she does. You can just see and feel it. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new doctor that isn't caught up in all of the Ballad health B.S. The Guffey Family and staff are real people who take the time to listen to your concerns and explain things in English that the common person can understand. I am so glad I went to see her today! I am a large man with type 2 diabetes and she went over changing my diet step by step, not just "put the fork down" like my old doctor used to say. I am so thankful I went to see her today. She actually cares about me, and made me feel like a person not just a number. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
